Years 3/4 Term 4 2011 Introductory Letter

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I offer my respectful obeisances.  All glories to Srila Prabupada.

Hare Krishna and welcome to Term 4.

Term 4 starts out with a bang as our class and the grade 5/6 class will be going to Midginbil Hill for three days of exciting camping activities.  We are looking forward to a fun experience at camp.

As usual, there will be plenty of great learning experiences in the classroom as we head towards the end of the school year.  Everyone has improved so much and can take pride in their abilities.  Our focus for the term is Govardhana Puja and the term value is Austerity.

As in the previous terms, Mother Yasoda will be teaching Art and Physical Education. Mother Mandakini will be teaching Drama and Mother Vilasa will continue teaching Ayurveda.  We thank them for the efforts and wonderful service.

We kindly remind parents that students need to supply their own pencils and erasers for class.  Our class supply is running low.  Also, I ask that parents make sure that their child has a water bottle to keep at school.  Moving into the summer months, it will become essential for students to have drinks readily available in the classroom.

It is requested that parents do a quick check for head lice before sending students to school.
